They also could face criminal charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class A misdemeanor, with a fine of up to $5,000 and up to one year in jail for each child who drinks.
However, if death of any person results from furnishing alcohol to the child then the adult could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor resulting in death, a class C felony, with a fine up to $10,000 and between two (2) and eight (8) years in prison.
